Cookie Policy
Effective date: 26 June 2026 ยท Videxa, India
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognise your device on subsequent visits, remember your preferences and provide a consistent experience. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage and pixel tags; this policy covers all of them.
2. How Videxa uses cookies
Videxa uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the Platform securely, maintain your session, remember your preferences and understand how the Platform is used so we can improve it. We do not use cookies to serve targeted advertising or to build profiles for sale to third parties.
3. Types of cookies we use
Strictly necessary cookies
Required for the Platform to function. They maintain your authenticated session, enforce security rules and enable core features. These cookies cannot be disabled without breaking the Platform. No consent is required for their use.
Examples: Firebase Auth session token, CSRF token.
Preference cookies
Remember choices you make โ such as your selected exchange filter โ so you don't need to re-enter them each visit. These are set only when you use the relevant feature.
Analytics cookies
Collect anonymised, aggregated data about how visitors interact with the Platform (pages viewed, features used, error rates). This helps us identify performance problems and plan improvements. No individual user is identifiable from this data.
Provider: Google Firebase Analytics (anonymised).
4. Third-party cookies
Some third-party services integrated into the Platform may set their own cookies:
- Google / Firebase โ authentication and analytics cookies governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
- Telegram โ if you interact with our Telegram bot, Telegram may set cookies governed by Telegram's own privacy policy.
We do not control these third-party cookies and are not responsible for them.
5. Your choices
You can control and manage cookies in several ways:
- Browser settings โ most browsers let you view, delete and block cookies. See your browser's help documentation for instructions.
- Opt-out tools โ for Google Analytics, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging in and using the Platform. Blocking preference or analytics cookies will not affect core functionality but may limit your experience.
6. Cookie retention periods
Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device for a defined period or until you delete them:
- Authentication tokens โ up to 30 days (refreshed on each active session).
- Preference cookies โ up to 12 months.
- Analytics cookies โ up to 26 months (Google Firebase default).
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as the Platform evolves or regulations change. Where changes are material, we will notify you via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before the update takes effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
